Freedoms Will

Something terrible is happening in Ukraine at the moment. Millions of people have already left their country and millions more will leave. For people in Europe, war has never been that close to home since WWII.

With this charity collection “The Strenght Of Freedom’s Will” Ilonka and her Creative Team are raising money to help the people in Ukraine. All of Ilonka’s commission for the sale of this collection (sale price minus store commission and Paypal fees) will be donated to the United Aid Organization for giro 555 in The Netherlands. More info about this organization can be read in the info that is written about this collection in the stores and in a PDF file that comes in all downloads of this collection.

At the beginning of April Ilonka will announce how much money was raised with the selling of this collection and will be donated. Follow her website, newsletter and social media channels for this.

I love the bright colors of this collection! I used it for my love of doors. I know I’m weird but whenever we travel I love taking pictures of fun architecture and doors.

Now that the weather is changing start taking pictures of the new brighter colors you notice around. They’ll be fun to scrap!

Girl Power

Today is all about girls! Two of the designers I create for have joined forces to create this fabulous bright fun collab. If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know I love “bright and fun”! It’s appropriately called Girl Power by Bits n Pieces and Pinkadilly Ink.

What a better collab to use for all the girls that are in my life. This first one is me and one of my long time friends since 8th grade! This is the photo I used – you can see it’s a winter photo and has dark colors but for this page I want to focus on just our faces.

I started this page by creating a cluster of fun items including a smiley face button I used as the center of a flower. I decided to add the little make up bag from this kit.

I used Leaping Over You template by Bits n Pieces for my page because of the photo frame that would be perfect for this girl page. Created another bright cluster in the bottom left of the photo to brighten it up even more. The bottom right of this page has a photo holder but I filled it with paper instead for my title box area.

The next page I created using this same kit but with some different elements and papers. On this page I wanted to use one of the alpha sets that are in it for my title. Black polka dots really make a bright page stand out even more.

I again made a cluster with a brush tucked in along with the flowers and a bit of lace.

My main photo is inserted in the ALREADY designed photo frame that’s in the kit. Talk about easy right!

My page was about a girls day of hair coloring. Again these photos aren’t the best lighting but when you brighten up the whole page the photos don’t look so dark.

Have fun playing with some of your darker girl photos creating a bright fun layout!
